Getting mcdonalds for lunch today cos it’s awesome and it’s payday! I simultaneously love and hate it! I’m a guy I can’t cope with complex emotions!

Got my second character to level 85 today! Unsure whether to be proud or ashamed of this achievement though…
Getting two WOW characters to max level requires a lot of time, thought and effort which means I have spent more time than I care to think about playing WoW. Which is a bad thing perhaps and the quintessential issue with mmorpgs.
On the other hand I have been playing on and off since 2006 since the old vanilla days and I’ve never once turned down any social occasion to play WoW and I have a healthy level of tan for being an Irishman in mid October so perhaps it’s not so bad…
The fact that my main has done over 2,500 quests and has over 5,000 achievement points and my secondary has done over 1,800 quests and has over 3,000 achievement points is a whole other issue….
I have deliberated on the fact and I consider it time well spent! If only I knew someone in the real world who plays WoW I could brag to….
Weekend
First weekend in a very long time where I have NOTHING on the books, going to be lazy, play some World of Warcraft and apply for some jobs…also will most likely squeeze in some X-Factor and perhaps a DVD (or Dinosaur Planet).

Job hunting
Have decided it’s time to get a new job! But being from somewhere small means not many on the go, and all the big employers are only after I.T. people at the moment. I mean I can do I.T. stuff, in my experience I’m as good at it as I.T. guys but have no qualifications…
Wonder if I could do something a little bit more generic like consultancy? Always wanted to be a teacher but staring at another years training and being 30 by the time I qualify and can’t justify that to myself…
The search goes on!
